F-ONE riders take it all at EJKC!

The Next Generation team was very present for this event and gave us a true show! These young riders were a lot to dispute this competition and have not been backing home empty-handed! The training in Fuerteventura was successful and allowed them to be well-prepared to this event as you see that the 1st of each age group was in the training (excepting Pauline who trained in New Caledonia). Congratulations to all our champions!

The committee decided to launch the first heats of the event on Friday at 8am because the weather did not seem very optimistic for the rest of the weekend. So it started with the 9-13 years old, who began at dawn in a little cold water but with a good South East wind!

The heats came one after another and they managed to finish the single elimination. The Spanish Javier JIMENEZ climbed up onto the highest step of the podium by winning the final (2nd in 2014), while the Swiss Maxime CHABLOZ finished at the 3rd place in the 9-13 years old category!

Among girls, 12 competitors were on the list and they competed into one category of various age.

The Brazilian Mikaili SOL reached the quarterfinals by being only 10 years old!

Meanwhile, Pauline VALESA succeeded in doing all her tricks one after the other and advanced heat per heat. The young Caledonian has been impressive in this competition and showed to all of us a very high level, which allowed her to get back her title of European Champion in 2015 after her second place in 2014 and her victory in 2013!

Gold medals for the NEXT GENERATION Team at the European Kitesurf Junior Cup!

The competition continued with the 14/15 years old. Lazare GOURNAY, offered a good show too by advancing step by step until the winner final!

A nice contest for the young guy from Brittany who finished first ex-aequo! Indeed due to a lack of wind they could not ended the simple elimination.

16-19 years old competed in parallel of the 14/15years and Nicolas DELMAS, with strong tricks, went to the semi-finals. Unfortunately the wind was absent again and prevented to finish the simple elimination.

Nicolas showed his own style with powerful jumps and net receipts which allowed him to be 1st ex-aequo with the tree other semi-finalists of this Junior European Cup.
